Over the years, my husband and I have gone to the Portero Canyon Buffet with family / friends usually on our way back from an enjoyable day trip at the Cabazon Outlets (which are just 5 minutes away). Morongo Casino is a gambling facility, but that is not why my main motivation to visit there.
